Hello hello! We should probably suck less at blogging.
We swear we are working hard to put out music, we have worked out all the kinks and we think we have something good going on. We are studio shopping and finishing up working on our own little studio (christmas present plug).
This year has been good so far! We have played shows around our lovely state of California, played on the radio and we just finished licensing for Chaos to be in a movie coming out next year!
Cheers to new EP’s and opportunities! We love you all lots and lots.
We’ve been keeping busy over the past few months in school, work, and of course music. We finished up writing most of our new album and we have been playing shows here and there to test out the new sound!
So far the response has been AMAZING and to anyone who has come by, thanks so much.
We have a few things in the works for this year still, our goal is to release the album, announce some cool things here and there (we <3 vague-ness), and hey, maybe we can actually tour or something. Might be cool.
Tomorrow we’re playing at Victory Cafe in downtown Fresno with Night Riots, Badflower, and Risa Rodriguez. It should be an amazing evening, filled to the brim with great tune-age. If you’re not busy with graduations and such, feel free to stop by and have a great time with us. Doors are at 7:00, tickets are $10.
Resolutions; when the clock strikes midnight, the year changes, and it’s a fresh start. I think everyone needs that every once in a while. A reason to do something they always wanted to, or to improve themselves. This new year excites me. I get to go to Hawaii this year! I might have an address change (don’t want to jinx it!) coming up in the fall! And we (the band) already have new music and shows starting to line up.
2012 was very challenging, filled with first time adventures and emotional strain. I feel like it forced me to decide what I want and what I want to fight for. I know it’s all really vague now, but once you all get a chance to look at new Amoret lyrics, you’ll be able to piece it together. Regardless, it made me stronger and more passionate moving forward.
2013, for me, is a year to take risks, to challenge myself, and TAKE CONTROL of my own life.
